When Companies Rule: Book Tour

My first book, When Companies Rule: Corporate Power from the East India Company to Silicon Valley, is a history of super-powerful corporations from the 1600s to the present. I argue that we have misunderstood what makes corporations powerful and dangerous, and need to get the history right if we are going to combat corporate misconduct today.
I’ll be talking about it (and signing books where I can) in a few locations. Would you like me to do a book talk at your local bookstore, university, think tank, festival or indeed, pub? Get in touch!
